Street Fair

Went to pick my friends up at Penn Station and ran into a street fair on 33rd and 7th. No matter how many of these I go to, and how they are all pretty similar, I always love running into one by accident and always do a little walk through.

My Faves

My Favorite "rastaman" ice skater back again at Bryant Park ice rink, light up skates and all.

My favorite subway performer, this amazing kid playing the keyboard.

My favorite man from the street, breaking into the fire hydrant over the weekend, come on it wasn't that hot!

My favorite rescuer, this saxophone player playing on the corner at 1am, pushing a limo that broke down on 5th avenue, sax in hand.

Veterans Day in Rockefeller Center

Celcius and the Pond 2010/2011

Celcius the beautiful winter wonderland restaurant in Bryant Park also called the Pond during the holidays is open. Also open is the free ice skating and the holiday shops. Its here... the holidays are here.

NYC marathon

Yesterday my mom and sister came up to NYC to watch the marathon. What a beautiful running day it was. We stood at 60th and 1st avenue and cheered on the thousands of runners from the front elite back to the, handicapped, and people wearing costumes.

I also signed up today for the lottery next year(yes I know it's a year away) called Marathon Monday Mania. It is a special program that will allow a few runners to get into the ING New York City Marathon 2011 via a special drawing on Tuesday, November 9, wish me luck on getting in!

Bryant Park Holiday Season

Today I helped set up Celcius, which is a pop up restaurant in Bryant Park. It is only there for the holiday season so they build it up, then they tear it down. Its located right by the ice skating rink by the Christmas tree. The holiday shops were being set up in Bryant Park as well.

Happy Halloweeny

I love Halloween, I especially love Halloween in NYC. This year the parade was on Sunday so my friends and I went out to a couple of bars and house parties Saturday. My favorite costumes that I saw were Kourtney Kardashian holding little Masey, a bed bug and a bed was my favorite couple costume, my friend Adrienne as Shark Week and my roommate as Ace Ventura... very creative. I went as a barmaid Friday and a Fashion Police officer on Saturday.

Empire state of mind

NYC I'm back

Today I went to one of my favorite places in New York City... central park. Especially Fall in central park, it is so beautiful with the leaves changing and all the different colors. There were lot of people out today taking carriage rides, eating lunch, painting classes and musicians playing. Its good to be back!
