We were not in the best moods, we hadn't eaten for 24 hours because we only had US dollars and there was no place to exchange our money. Then it started raining, and the bus started to leak and the bathrooms on the bus, ehh I can't even go into. To top it off there was a newborn baby crying the whole ride, and that's not an exaggeration!

After 12 hours on the bus we stopped to have dinner and were told that we have another 8 hours to go until Cusco. We got Peruvian Sol and we ate fried cheese, baked potatoes and what looked like over-sized corn, which tasted like heaven to us.
We just arrived in Cusco after another 8 hours on the bus making the total hours on the bus from San Pedro about 29 hours meaning we have been traveling for about 32 hours. Not the best part of our trip but things could have been worse.
Now it's almost time for breakfast at our hostel and for us to enjoy Cusco. We get to relax until we continue our journey on Friday to Machu Picchu.

Wow ! What a bus ride ;what a story. Rest up, eat well , and get ready to see one of the many wonders of the world! Machu Picchu!! xoxo
