Today we walked into the center and found a flight for Cusco to Lima on Sunday morning, yah, no 30 hour bus ride!
Then we went out to lunch got a 3 course meal of guacamole and potato, vegetable soup, meat and rice for 5 sole about $1.40 USD!
Then we headed back to the hostel to get ready to head out of town to volunteer to teach English to underprivileged children. After a 15 minute overcrowded bus ride, a10 minute walk along a rail road track and hiking up a huge, steep dirt hill we got to the building where we were going to teach. We came up with a lesson plan of what we were going to teach and what games to play, then the children arrived. There was about 15 children and about 7 of us, we did about an hour lesson.

Then we had play time and I took lots of their pictures on my digital camera, which they loved to see themselves, and I also let them use my camera to take pictures, which they loved even more. They were so sweet and it was touching to see them trying so hard to learn a different language. It was sad to see where they live and how unclean they were, but it was cool to see that they were still happy, fun loving kids.
