Rise and Shine

Today I got up early so we could go see more of the city before the futbol match. We walked over to the area called, “Puerto Madero” and walked to the harbor which had some pretty views of the water, boats and people doing water sports. There we saw the bridge called, “Puente de Lamujer” which is structured after a couple dancing the tango.

After this we headed back to the hostel to be picked up for the futbol game which was insane. These games are rumored to get pretty crazy so they had extreme amounts of police there just in case, but nothing got too crazy. The game was Boca vs. Lanus and it was in Boca so that's who everyone was for. The final score was 1-2, Boca lost but it was such a great experience like no other sporting event I've been to. The locals stand the whole game and cheer, chant and have different songs to sing the whole playing time. It was pretty amazing.

After this we walked to dinner to a cute, quaint restaurant with mostly locals called, “Desnivel”. They are known for their grilled meats so we got a t-bone steak, a tenderloin, a salad and a bottle of San Telmo Malbec, all very very delicious. Muy bueno!
