Food Coma

Ok, Sevilla, you have proven everyone right on what they say about delicious food in Spain.   The food here is amazing.  Just to name a few the paella, ham, cheese, grilled pork medallions with Iberian ham over toast, slow cooked cod in garlic sauce, fried ham and blue cheese rolls, bull tail, toasted bread with cheese, garlic salted tuna, pork loin in whiskey sauce, the helado... the list goes on but just to name a few.  Iḿ in food heaven!!

Bullfighting Stadium

huge mojitos

The first night I met a guy from Switzerland, Lucas, so we went out to this local  bar until 4am drinking  mojitos and cocktails in incredibly large cups, buy one get one for 9 dollars, ugh.  The next day we were not feeling so hot.

Today I walked around the city, checked out the Sevilla Cathedral, went on a tour of the bull fighting stadium, walked around the Palace Alcazar for 3 or so hours.  I can not even begin to describe this palace.  Built in the 1300ś, every single room, every little detail, every mosaic, entry way, ceiling, walkway, fountain everything is just stunning.

While at the Alcazar, I ran into Lucas so we hung out for a bit before grabbing some dinner and drinks and then buying tickets to a Flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria.  This may have been the most amazing show I have ever seen.  There was a guitar player, a singer and two Flamenco dancers.  It was high energy and attitude and such skill it blew my mind.
