Bali, Indonesia

We left Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon and took a 3 hour flight to Bali. When we arrived, we bought our visa upon arrival and headed to the beachy town of Kuta, found a super cute hotel with a pool and bought dinner. I got a yummy whole snapper, with a delicious garlic butter sauce and a large Bintang beer, oddly served non refrigerated, which actually was pretty good. At night we went out on the main road where there is a bunch of bars and clubs and the streets are packed with motorbikes, taxi's, people and vendors.

Pretty early the next day we headed to the beach, I rented a surf board for the day, got tuna steak for lunch and had an awesome day of surfing, swimming, buying items from the local ladies on the beach, and lounging around. The water was the perfect temperature, and the waves were just the size I like to surf on. The locals on the beach are very friendly and are quick to hang out for a bit to chat and practice their English.

We grabbed some fish with chili sauce for dinner and then headed back out to grab some drinks for the night.
